We were a group of friends who love the countryside and wanted to learn in detail how the fighting bull lives in its natural environment. Concha, who was in charge of the visit, explained everything to us thoroughly, giving us great insight into the world of the fighting bull. We travelled by trailer (very safe) out into the fields to see them in their natural habitat. Afterwards, we enjoyed drinks in the sun followed by lunch with traditional Andalusian food. An experience I would undoubtedly recommend and one that I will definitely repeat! She has the best personality and such a passion for the work. We especially loved the reference with which she spoke about the ranch owner, her mother. It was a very special experience- both my kids both helped feed the bulls from the back of the wagon. We LOVE that the ranch is family owned and operated and they work incredibly hard to keep it immaculate. If you want an unforgettable and unique activity don't hesitate to book. We really enjoyed this bull farm tour - what a unique experience. The family who owns the farm takes such pride in their history and animals. Conchita was an excellent guide. We learned so much about the lifecycle of the bulls and their prize qualities. We were also introduced to Iberian pork pigs and cork trees grown on the ranch. We were also treated to a traditional, delicious Spanish lunch. I wish I had the recipe for the Gazpacho it was so delicious! This was a beautiful experience seeing Iberian pigs and the Toro Bravo in their natural habitat. There is a separate pen for the Iberian piglets and you are able to feed them! Martha’s english was great and she advised me of local events happening in Seville. Our boys loved seeing the bulls, pigs, and especially Bobby, the dog that thinks he’s a pig. Conchita and her family were very welcoming and provided a unique perspective on raising “brave bulls” based on their family’s heritage. The ranch is so beautiful, that I have to say the pictures on the website don’t do it justice. You have to see it in person to understand the wonderful place where these animals are raised.

Whatever your views on bullfighting, seeing these majestic animals and how they are grown and trained is both educational and fun. You will see how the bulls in bullfighting are chosen and raised by a family who have been doing this for decades. The farm is large, beautiful and very well kept. I expected some kind of farm visit, but got much more after being told the history, importance and details of such a process. Concha and her side kick Tana (dog) will escort you through acres of their land (via tractor trailer) showing you their bulls and pigs. This was the highlight of my Seville trip.

Nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos y fueron muy amables con mis niños de 4 y 6 años. El Campo es a unos 45 minutes de Sevilla, es un recorrido simple y bonito. Es una experiencia que recomiendo para el que quiere conocer más sobre la zona rural y sus costumbres. Memorable?

We have learned a lot on the iberico pigs and on the toros and all the history around it. It is so impressive to learn and see all the work required and knowledge around bulls (toros) .
